Newton's third law says that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. For example, the action is the ball applies force to the ground and the reaction is the ground applying force to the ball. You can see this is volleyball when you are serving. If your first toss is not a good one, you are supposed to drop the ball. When you drop the ball the ball bounces right back up to you. Another example of Newton's third law is when you serve. The action is you striking the ball and the reaction is the ball clearing the net or going to the other side of the net. One more example of Newton's third law is setting. The action is the ball touching your fingers tips and the reaction is the ball being set into the air.
